Amaro Monteiro

Hello, welcome to my portfolio, here you will find some work that specifically, somehow, took part of me. I worked as a graphic designer for more than 15 years and discovered in this journey the direction of art, where I fell in love.
I graduated in advertising and publicity, specialized in direction of art by the Cuca school of creatives of São Paulo.
In my work process, two things have always been paramount to me. The first is the idea always to be ahead of the automatic, something as pure as the feelings and so perfect and imperfect while being in the habit. The second thing is giving, giving a part of me so that these works have feelings, show from forms. colors, letters and pictures all the evidences of the creation process. Here are works that involved all these processes, all the pains, emotions, evenings and many coffee cups to be developed.

I am 30 years old and I live in São Paulo, but I was born in Taubaté, a city that developed me creatively and always encouraged me to seek more.
