In 2017, only the NGO SaferNet registered 1751 reports of racism on the social network, almost 58.3% of registrations across the internet. Twitter, with 422, and YouTube with 174 reports complete the ranking of the sites with the highest number of racism records. All over the internet there were approximately 3,000 cases recorded, just last year.

With that in mind, SOS Racism, a ngo focused entirely on helping people who suffer a certain aggression, thinking about the impact that such offenses cause, we created a plugin that is compatible with several browsers and that through keywords the plugin blocks words. racists not only on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but also on Google’s own search timeline.
